Hi y’all!
Don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow with your regularly-scheduled programming, but in the meantime…when’s the last time you listened to someone tell you a story?
Join us on Monday at 3pm ET for story time. And for some dreaming and imagining about our democracy.
We’ll hear from:
Kelly Born, Democracy, Rights, and Governance Director at the Packard Foundation, and
Gideon Lichfield, former editor-in-chief of WIRED and the writer of Futurepolis.
Some of you got to hear Gideon narrate his scenario for how a citizen, “Sandra,” might interact with democracy in 2040 at a PACE (Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement) funder gathering.
On Monday:
Gideon will tell you that ~15 minute story (tied to this piece of “design fiction” that he wrote),
Kelly will share about the Democracy Futures Project, co-led by PACE and Packard, and
We’ll do some dreaming and scheming about the future of our democracy.
Registration is here and we hope to see you on Monday!
